Enola Holmes 3 is coming to Netflix on 1 July 2026. Yay!!
I’m super excited to watch this movie. Do you know I have been waiting for this for so long?
And I think it’s a sentiment I share with many people, including you, my dearest reader, who are fans of the movie and of the young, talented actress, mother, and wife, Millie Bobby Brown.
Listen, don’t watch Enola Holmes 3 unless you have watched the first two films, because that’s when you’ll appreciate the plot, action, and acting in the third film.
The good news is? You have approximately six days to catch up before 1 July. Watch them now, and you will thank me later.
Before I delve into some of the thrills to expect in this movie, let’s talk about some of the memorable moments I loved in Enola Holmes and Enola Holmes 2.
Enola Holmes (2020): A Brilliant Introduction
Enola Holmes, first released on Netflix in 2020, is about the intrepid teenage sister of Sherlock Holmes, who goes on a mission to find their mother after she goes missing. Her quest becomes more interesting and complicated as she meets characters along the way and events unfold over time.
Miss Harrison’s Finishing School
The first interesting moment I enjoyed was when Enola Holmes was sent to Miss Harrison’s Finishing School, a boarding school whose core purpose is to train young girls to become proper, submissive, upper-class wives.
I thought it was quite hilarious listening to and watching the lessons they taught the young girls there. The laughing lesson, in particular, had me throwing myself on the bed—that’s how hard I laughed.
Meeting Viscount Tewkesbury
The next interesting moment was when she met Viscount Tewkesbury on the train. I loved it because neither of them knew the other’s background, and the friendship that unfolded there made me believe in destiny.
Enola Holmes 2 (2022): A More Mature Detective
Enola Holmes 2 was released in 2022.
This time, Enola is not oblivious to the real world anymore. She’s matured and has now taken on her new case as a professional detective, and this new role sends her on an interesting adventure.
Enola’s Innocence About Love
The first interesting moment in Enola Holmes 2 is her naivety about love and the dating world. Her failure to see that she’s captured a lion’s heart is what makes the storyline captivating for me.
When the Poor Challenge the Rich
The next interesting but sad moment in the film is when you realize death is inevitable when the poor “play with fire” against the rich.
You’re going to burn.
Enola Holmes 3: What to Expect
Now, finally, to Enola Holmes 3, the long-awaited third film.
Here are some of the thrills to expect.
1. Action
Enola isn’t ready to let her guard down. She’s armed and ready to eliminate any potential danger. But will that be at the expense of her love?
2. Wedding
Somebody is getting married, and we know who. But given her character, will she make it to the altar?
3. Love
Sherlock may be more experienced and older, but age and experience will not stand in Enola’s way of finding her brother.
4. Heartbreak
Even I sensed it in the trailer. But is it going to be us, the audience, or the lovely gentleman who “crazily” seeks to make Enola—a girl who has never succumbed to society’s expectations of women—his wife?
Enola Holmes 3 keeps Me Hopeful
One thing is quite certain for me. This movie is going to be even better than we’re anticipating.
