Tomorrow, I’m going on a road trip with my friend Ruth. It’s been over two years since we last saw each other, which was on graduation day when we received our bachelor’s degree certificates. The last words we said to each other were, “All the best.”
Surely, we’ve experienced many good things over the past two years.
As I was thinking about some fun activities we could do here in Accra to rekindle our friendship, I remembered a wonderful day-out experience I had with another friend of mine, Justina. Then I realized I hadn’t shared it with you here on my blog because it was such a phenomenal experience.

Café Vita is a coffee shop, but they serve all kinds of food and beverages. It is located on the first floor of Atlantic Mall at Atomic.
One thing I really like about the place is that they have games you can play while waiting for your order. My friend Justina and I chose Scrabble, and it turned out to be a great way to relax, chat, and enjoy each other’s company.
2. Play Naughty Beans
Naughty Beans looks simple, but it’s surprisingly fun.
It is a fast-paced, two-player arcade and carnival reflex game. The goal is to catch or press the lights that appear on the buttons as quickly as possible. If you’re in a group, you can take turns and compete against one another.
3. Try SNO Cross Racing
If you’re afraid of riding a motorbike but have always liked the idea of it, this is your chance to try it virtually.
SNO Cross Racing gives you the thrill of racing without the real-life risks, making it a fun experience even for beginners.
4. Defend the World From Aliens
You might enjoy shooting some aliens, too.
They’re ugly, fast, and determined, but if you’ve ever watched alien invasion movies and imagined yourself helping to save the world, you’ll probably have fun playing this game.
It’s exciting, engaging, and surprisingly addictive.
5. Experience Virtual Reality Games
Virtual reality games offer incredible immersion, allowing you to physically interact with digital worlds.
The staff told us the experience was supposed to be scary, but I spent most of the time smiling instead. If you want to scare me, you’ll need to make it much scarier than that!
Whether you’re a first-timer or a gaming enthusiast, virtual reality is worth trying at least once.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience for us.
The good news is that all these activities can be found in one location: Atlantic Mall, on the first floor. You can enjoy them with your family, children, workmates, or friends.
